Empire Today® Welcomes Bruce Millard as Chief Marketing Officer

Northlake, IL – July 14, 2025 – Empire Today, the leading provider of high-quality, affordable installed flooring solutions, is proud to announce the hiring of Bruce Millard as its new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). Millard brings to Empire® more than 30 years of experience guiding the growth of consumer-facing brands, and will lead the company’s omnichannel marketing efforts, e-commerce, and marcomms programs.

In his most recent role, Millard served as CMO for Big Lots, where he rebuilt marketing strategies to optimize spend and drive growth, leading to rapid increases in sales and the reactivation of 3 million lapsed customers. In a previous role as VP of Marketing at Safelite AutoGlass, Millard spearheaded award-winning digital experiences and scaled customer acquisition efforts that greatly increased online service bookings, helped fuel the company’s rapid growth, and resulted in a triple-digit ROI in traditional and digital marketing channels.

Bruce holds a Bachelor of Science in Media Communications from Medaille College.
