Empire Today Celebrates One Year in Junction City

3/29/2006

Junction City, Kan.—March 29, 2006— Empire Today had reason to celebrate with its employees on Wednesday, March 29, as they reached their one-year anniversary in Junction City. The office marked the occasion with a luncheon and cake and senior management from their Chicago area corporate headquarters were on hand to congratulate the team in person.

To accommodate Empire Today’s significant growth, a call center was opened in Junction City one year ago to handle appointment setting, customer service, sales support, outbound telemarketing, and order management duties. Junction City was selected for the site of the center due to the employees they could attract which fit their service profile, including high levels of service to customers in a timely manner. The office opened with a half dozen associates, and has grown to a team of more than 150. Further expansion is planned, as the company expects to add an additional 50-100 employees over the next 12 months.

Regarding the one-year milestone, Bridget Mosacatello, Vice President of Customer Care for Empire Today, commented, “Empire Today is proud to be in Junction City, as we have experienced significant growth in our first year and have had low turnover. We are proud of the accomplishments the center has achieved, in that we actively promote from within, reward individuals for ‘delighting’ our customers and enjoy being in a community that works to help all citizens. We will continue with our growth and look forward to another eventful year.”
