A Thought on Functionality

Functionality is at the core of sustainability.  What will make you want to have a floor, piece of furniture or even home for a long period of time is not only its aesthetic appeal but also how it functions.  I recently took a vacation and was very impressed with the design of the resort I stayed at except for a few very glaring design choices that were clearly chosen for looks.  That got me thinking and when it came time to sit down and pen this week’s article I took it as topic inspiration.
